What Season of Business are you in?
How are you feeling? Really? Is your business more like a slog than something you love doing? The general feeling is you're tired and the last few years will do that to you. Be kind to yourself.
It got me thinking…
What Season Of Business Are You In Now?
I want to dive into the different seasons of entrepreneurship, and I'm bringing you along for the ride. Recently, I've been thinking about the ebb and flow, the highs and lows, and all the real stuff in between on my own business journey and I wanted to share it with you.
HERE IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH:
CREATION:
Embrace the Buzz You're buzzing with energy and excitement about a new project or the birth of your new business. It's like stepping into your purpose and doing exactly what you've been called to do.
GROWTH:
Scaling with Balance Picture this: You're witnessing your business grow right before your eyes. Scaling, hiring, investing—it's all happening. But here's the secret sauce—you've got this sweet balance where your time is just where it needs to be. You're growing, but you're not losing yourself in the process.
NURTURE:
Capitalise on Your Success Now, you've hit a stride. Workflows and systems are your trusty sidekicks, and they're working like a charm. This isn't the time to launch something new. Nope, it's the season to nurture what you've built, analyse what's working, and fine-tune your success.
REST:
Because You Matter Most Your business isn't the star of the show anymore—you are. Maybe life threw a curveball, burnout knocked on your door, or you just needed a breather. It's okay to take a step back, prioritise yourself, and let your business chill for a bit. You matter most.
Truth Bomb Here:
I really believe you'll experience every single one of these seasons multiple times throughout your biz journey. And there's nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with those seasons of nurture and rest. And you know what? That's perfectly okay. Nurture and rest are just as vital as the buzz of creation and the thrill of growth. Trust me, I learn the hard way. It wasn't until earlier this year, that I realised this is okay. There is nothing wrong with not being in a phase of constant creation and growth.
It's a journey, my friend, and you've got what it takes. Personally, I am on the other side REST after experiencing burnout last year and I'm exciting for future opportunities.
Right now, I'm in MY sweet spot of Scaling with Balance.
So wherever you are in your business , I hope you give yourself a moment to enjoy it.
